It is sometimes difficult to know whether it is time for a new mattress or not. # A waterbed is going to last a little bit less and is usually done by seven years.

# A pillowtop bed can have a lot of softness, but this can make it wear out faster and it is usually good for seven years.

# A hybrid mattress is usually made out of high-quality materials and can last up to 10 years in many cases.

# Innerspring: This type of mattress will typically just last seven years for most owners.

# Memory Foam: If you go with the memory foam option, then you could get 10 years out of the mattress with good maintenance.
